Because HydraFacial has exfoliation, pore-cleansing & extraction in its procedure, it has been used and proven beneficial to treat mild to moderate acne. Regular series of treatment sessions are needed to get the expected results. If you have mild to moderate levels of acne, HydraFacial can be your choice instead of the pharmaceutical drugs with many side effects.
If you have severe inflammatory acne in the form of papules, pustules, and cysts, we always recommend to consult your physician first to make sure your acne is not bacterial. If your acne is hormonal and you’d rather not use strong medication, or medication has only helped you temporarily, we have a HydraFacial treatment specifically tailored for you - HydraClear - to help you calm down inflammation and control pore congestion. By calming down inflammation we increase the healing process and prevent acne scaring. By controlling pore congestion we minimize future breakouts. Home care with a correct cleanser, resurfacing serum and soothing hydrator is a MUST. Essentially what you do at home in between sessions is an extension of treatments we provide in-house. In general clients need 2-6 sessions depending on the severity of their condition. Results become visible after 2 treatments and 2 months of proper and consistent home care.
